The architecture is configured to maximize redundancy and all hardware is replicated to avoid single points of failure. Scanning servers are deployed in a fault tolerant stateless configuration and our high performance network is implemented using fast, mirrored drives. Regional load balancing is used to distribute traffic providing additional resilience and performance. Our network utilizes high-performance route-optimized bandwidth to the Internet via a proprietary distributed metro NAP architecture and regional backbone network. Network and Service Monitoring:

ScanSafe continuously monitors and optimizes the service to ensure maximum performance and reliability. Automated monitoring software continuously verifies that all primary and secondary services are fully operational and that traffic levels are maintained within expected limits. Virus and Spyware definitions plus content filtering rules are continuously updated and customers are notified automatically via email whenever a threat is detected and neutralized. Any exceptions are notified immediately to our skilled engineers responsible for service delivery.
